Sponges Display

This beautiful exhibit features the diversity of the kingdom Porifera.  These colonial organisms come in an array of forms, and this collection features a wide diversity of examples.  Included are the Freshwater Sponge, Crown Sponge, Silk Sponge, Wool Sponge, Finger Sponge, Tube Sponge, and a Glass Sponge known as Venus’ Flower Basket.  Each specimen is identified and the collection comes housed in a 12” X 16” exhibit.
