Desert Bighorn Sheep (Male) Skull Replica

Ovis canadensis nelsoni. The desert bighorn sheep is a species of sheep that can be found in the deserts of the southwesten US and upper Mexico. They are excellent climbers, and their hooves are specially adapted to manage the steep, rocky terrain of the desert. They are also able to go long periods of time with water. Both male and female sheep have horns, although males have larger horns that they use ram other sheep and assert dominance.

Desert bighorn sheep skull measures 30 cm / 11.8 in. Horns measure 83 cm / 32.6 in. Once assembled on the stand, the skull is approximately 22" H x 20" W x 14" D.
