The summertime heat is upon us and for a lot of people that means one thing: finding ways to stay cool. And there’s no better way to stay cool than by playing in the water!
Getting wet presents the perfect opportunity to learn about the importance of water and how it affects ourselves, the planet, and the eco-systems around us. As environmental pollution continues to pose a threat to the next generation, finding clean water and pollutant-free resources are becoming increasingly more difficult. Helping children understand the role of water, and specifically, clean water can turn them into adults who will help take care of the planet.
Nature Watch has a variety of fun and engaging summer activities and crafts about water that can be initiated either inside or outdoors. Our mission is to help you educate children about the vital role water sources play in our environment, the contaminants that can impact water supply, and ways to harvest power from water as alternative energy sources.
