Elementary Full Year of STEM Kits for Afterschool (K-5/6th)
This collection of 35 different projects allows your students to focus on a different project each week of the school year. Nature/Science based themes include: animals, birds, insects and butterflies, ocean and sea life, trees and plants, space and solar system, ecology and so much more!
Middle School STEM Kits for Afterschool (6th-8th)
This collection of 12 different projects is geared toward middle school grade levels. These kits allow for more advanced learning, yet still offer the hands-on experience of project based learning. Themes include: food chains/webs, outdoor living skills, photosynthesis, gardening and more!
Summer Program STEM Kits
This collection of 12 kits is designed to meet the needs of summer programs. These "campy" projects work for all grade levels and themes include: bees, sharks, going green, hummingbirds, constellations and more. A great addition for either 4 and 6 week summer programs or for winter and spring break camps!

Since 1987 Nature Watch has created and provided hands-on kits making science easy to teach and fun to learn. Our project based approach is important because students are active and engaged learners, often not even realizing that they are learning. This disguised form of learning is powerful and helps make learning come alive.
Fun for students. Easy for staff. Many students (and staff) are reluctant or even a bit fearful of science. We understand that and have created our kit materials with this in mind. Afterschool staff will find the materials organized and the instructor's guides easy to follow. Students will be excited to make the feeders, necklaces, coasters, games, gardens, bracelets and other hands-on learning projects.
Our make-and-take concept allows parents to stay connected. When children come home and parents ask "what did you do today", often the answer is "nothing". Of course that's not the case, and a take-home project allow parents to see what their child made and to ask them about it. Take home projects also reflect well on the afterschool program when students arrive home excited to share what they created and all that they learned in the process.
